The Next Generation Lawyers Group Co-Hosts Judicial Panel
Three judges provided advice for young lawyers on their development as advocates and as professionals during a judicial panel hosted by Winston & Strawn, the Next Generation Lawyers Group, Berkeley Center for Law & Technology, and the ABA Antitrust Unilateral Conduct Committee The panel included the Hon. Philip Halpern of the Southern District of New York, the Hon. Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the Northern District of California, and the Hon. Jacqueline Corley of the Northern District of California, all of whom have standing orders that encourage the participation of newer attorneys in stand-up opportunities. Panel questions covered a variety of topics, including early development as advocates, perspective on networking and mentorship, and advices to advocates based on their experience as judges.
